Maddy
I am a qualified dog trainer and have been busy running a successful pack walking business based in Devonport since Jan 2021. You can check out Paws in Line here. Several years ago I saw a need for a small breeds only pack where the pups could enjoy each others company without the worry of being stood on or frightened by much bigger dogs. I wanted to create a space where even shy and nervous dogs could gently come out of their shell and have fun. Now I have a fully booked group of small dogs once a week attend our property and have witnessed some of the most quiet and shy become total social butterflies, like Tui, a beloved client of ours who is the pup at the top of our website.

I have been assisting my wife, Maddy, for the last 4 years in her dog business. Coming from South Africa, I have always grown up with a fondness of our "indoor dogs" who were all typically small breed. Because of this, Maddy and I bought our first dog back in 2019 and that is Daisy the Chihuahua. Quickly followed by a second chihuahua called Violet. Both attend the Small Dog Social Club. At the beginning of 2025 we decided that I would come on board full time with the company and focus on a specific full time service for small dogs. I am the lead handler in the business, completing all pick ups daycare duties, washing and dropping off home while Maddy still does her big dog walking for Devonport clients.  My passion is seeing the dogs play, establish new friendships and gain confidence.

We need to get a good photo of us as a team out with the pups but for now, enjoy a photos of our Chihuahuas, Daisy and Violet.
